From the CEO…..
Over the past 28 years I have written fair and honest reviews of medical devices, detailing their advantages as well as shortcomings. This policy will continue with written and video reviews that appear on MedGizmos.com. We publish these reviews so they are worthwhile reading and viewing and can assist medical providers in making the best decisions possible when faced with many choices. Often when a device is “not ready” for prime time, we will avoid reviewing the device until such time when it is deemed worthy of our critique.
In order to sustain this website we solicit advertisements from vendors who wish to attract potential customers to their products. Despite this, advertisements will not influence our editorial approach to reviewing devices. We will acknowledge advertisements when appropriate, and will respond to questions from our readers in an open and honest manner.
We hope that vendors will not only advertise, but provide useful resources (white papers, webinars, copies of studies) that will help make MedGizmos.com a vibrant community for those who are interested in using medical technology to advance patient care.
Also be aware that we receive devices to review from devices manufacturers as this is obviously necessary for the review process!
